Achieving Your Goals
No one can tell you exactly how to achieve your goals but, they can give you guidance and
help move you in the right direction. What are your goals? Do you want to be a millionaire or a successful business
person? Is your life goal to be a good mother and wife? No matter what your life long goal is there are steps that
you can take to ensure that you reach them.
How Do I Recognize My Strengths and Weaknesses?
Start out by making a list of the things that you excel in. For example, if you are good at organizing and managing
then write that down on the plus side of your list. Once you take an inventory of your strengths then you need to
think about your weaknesses. A common weakness is self discipline. It is hard to practice self control and it is
human nature to break rules.
After you have made your list look at all of your strengths and try to figure out how you can optimize these
strengths. If your strengths over power your weaknesses it will be much easier for you to stay on track to
achieving your goals.
How Do I Stay in Control of My Life and Achieve My Goals?
You will need to keep track of the things you want to achieve. Write a list of the goals you want to achieve and
give yourself a timeline to achieve them. It is very easy to get overwhelmed so start with one goal at a time.
Once, you meet the first goal then you can move onto the next. If you try to take more than one goal at a time you
will most likely fail at achieving any of them.
