Chocolate Contains Healthy Properties
Chocolate is one of the small delights in life that appeals to most people. Just a small
sampling of chocolate can change my outlook in a minute. The melting chocolate in my mouth creates a pool of
delicious flavor. That is pure chocolate joy.
I used to feel guilty eating chocolate because it is candy. Candy has extra calories. Most
adults do not desire to add extra calories to their diet. But now chocolate has become a health food. What a
wonderful addition to a healthy diet. Chocolate has been found to contain properties which may lower blood pressure
and may even reduce the risk of stroke. What a wonderful discovery. Of course not all varieties of chocolate have
the same properties. To obtain the health benefits of chocolate choose a dark chocolate with over sixty percent
cocoa. More and more products contain dark chocolate. Bittersweet chocolate bars are available in most candy shops.
Dark chocolate cocoa products are available as hot chocolate mixes. Even grocery stores offer special dark
bittersweet chocolate chips for baking. Specialty candy shops offer special dark chocolates which are delicious
with wine. There are even dark chocolate candy cups made to hold a fruit filling or mousse.
I am delighted to add chocolate to my diet. Now I can enjoy a piece or two of chocolate
each day. Knowing that indulging in a special treat of chocolate will not be harmful to my body but beneficial
instead is great news. I am grateful to the research that made this pleasure available. I only wish I could have
